I purchased a 4 pack. 1 fragrance free, 1 Cashmere Quiet, and 2 Liquid Wood. I was amazed that the fragrance free is just that there is no scent at all, you smell the wood of the packaging and there is no smell when it is used. Fragrance free stuff usually leaves a light clean smell or something. This leaves nothing, truly free of any smell at all. The others are the opposite, they both smell amazing. What surprised me was the smell is not overpowering as if someone poured on cologne but the wind flows by just right or you lean into someone who used it and you smell the fragrance on the wind.
I have not used it on dishes. My wife and I have both tried it in the shower and were very happy with the results. I used it first and it was a learning experience. I first used a pea sized amount as advised to wash my hands. It lathered up well, removed the dirt and grime and when rinsed left me feeling clean without any residue, yet even hours later I put my hand near my face and caught a light fragrance from it. I would not have expected the scent to last that long when there was no residue after I rinsed my hands. Later in the shower put the advised amount on a wet wash cloth and tried to wash my body like that. It didn't work. It seemed to get lost in the washcloth. I found if I put the WildBatch in my hands and got it good and moist I could soap up my entire body. I am a big guy and put what equaled maybe 1.5 capfuls in my hands and it covered me very well in soap. I then grabbed…

A quick note on fragrance-free: fragrance-free means no fragrance is added at all, while unscented products often include masking fragrances to cover the natural scent of the ingredients, and maybe that's why you have some scent after using unscented products. What is WildBatch?
WildBatch is an all-natural powdered soap built for on-the-go clean. WildBatch comes in 2.5oz tubes that can last up to 100 cleans.
How long will each tube last me?
The number of uses you get from one capsule depends on how you use it, as everyone has different needs whether camping, hiking, at the park, or on the beach:
- Handwashing Only: If you’re using the capsule solely for washing your hands, you can expect 75+ washes. A pea-sized amount is enough for clean hands!
- Camping or Backpacking: For multi-purpose use (e.g., washing hands, body, clothes, dishes or even shoes), one capsule provides 15–20 washes, depending on the specific tasks and amount used per wash.
- Laundry: Just 2 capfuls is all you need to wash a load of clothes.
Each capsule is designed for versatility, so the exact number of uses varies based on your activities and how much amount you apply per use.
Keep in mind that more suds don’t equal a cleaner wash.
What can it clean?
WildBatch is gentle and effective enough to be used to clean almost anything from hands, hair, pots & pans, clothes, backpacks, etc.
What does each scent smell like?
Fragrance free is nice and clean with no scent.
Liquid Wood is our most subtle blend: a light, airy blend with soft florals and a gentle woody undertone. Perfect if you prefer something barely-there.
Cashmere Quiet is a step up in warmth, featuring white tea, a hint of peach skin, and a cozy sandalwood base. Still very soft, just a little more enveloping.
Citron Canopy is our most vibrant, a bright, uplifting mix of lemongrass and eucalyptus.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our formula is gentle, sulfate-free, and made with plant-derived ingredients that are kind to skin. That said, everyone’s skin is different — if you have specific allergies or sensitivities, always patch test first.
Is WildBatch safe to use in the backcountry and near water sources?
Yes. WildBatch is formulated with plant and mineral-derived ingredients that are fully biodegradable. For backcountry use, follow Leave No Trace guidelines: always rinse at least 200 feet from lakes, rivers, and streams. This gives the soil time to naturally filter the water before it reaches any water source.
